Description

Clinical history : A 72 year old male in a confused state and uremic frost on his face with pulmonary edema.
The patient's prostate was enlarged and heart protruded with blod urea levels of 450 mg.%.
An intravenous infusion was placed prior to death.
Autopsy findings : 1. Adenocarcinoma of the prostate with bladder infiltration and seconadry metastasis to the prostatic lymph nodes and skull.
2. Hydronephrosis and chronic pyelonephritis.
3. Bronchopneumonia.
Diagnosis: Bladder infiltration by an adenocarcinoma of the prostate
