Abstract
Na aanleiding van die onlangse straatnaamveranderings in Pretoria, bespreek die brief 'n rubriek wat in die 1980's in die Pretoria News-koerant verskyn het, waar plekke wat in ou foto's van die stad uitgebeeld word weer afgeneem word om te wys hoe dit verander het. Die foto toon die suid-oostelike hoek van Esselen- en Greeffstrate in Sunnyside.
With reference to recent street name changes in Pretoria, the letter discusses a series which appeared in the Pretoria News in the 1980s, in which sites depicted in old photographs of the city were photographed anew to show how they had changed. The photo shows the south-eastern corner of Esselen and Greeff Streets in Sunnyside.
