Description
Clinical history : A 21-year old male was induced into a coma and examination showed papilledema.
The cerebrospinal fluid showed signs of subarachnoidal haemorrhage.
Autopsy findings : 1. Congenital arterio-venous anomaly in the region of the internal cerebral vein and choroid plexus.
2. Sub-arachnoidal haemorrhage.
Diagnosis: Aterio-venous anomaly.
