Description
Clinical history : A 19-year old female patient with history of previous hepatitis seven years ago.
Pain in small joints developed and at admission examination revealed the presence of anaemia, albuminuria and haematuria.
Needle biopsies of liver and kidney diagnosed post necrotic liver cirrhosis and lobular glomerulonephritis.
Autopsy findings : 1. Post necrotic liver cirrhosis - auto-immune type.
2. Necrotizing lobular glomerulonephritis.
3. Bilateral cortical haemorrhage in adrenal gland.
Diagnosis: Post necrotic liver cirrhosis - auto-immune type
