Abstract
Description
Clinical history : A 19 year old male with swelling of the legs and had splenomegaly.
The patient showed signs of portal hypertension with oesophageal varices and died in a liver coma.
Autopsy findings : 1. Macronodular liver cirrhosis.
2. Hepatitis B.
3. Nodular infarction.
4. Oesophageal varices.
5. Bronchopnuemonia.
Diagnosis: Macronodular cirrhosis with nodular infarction
