From the Pearse Collection: photograph depicting a living room with beamed ceiling, date unknown. The furniture, perhaps from the 1940s, is arranged around a fireplace flanked by bookcases. Photograph probably considered for prof. Geoffrey Pearse's book "Eighteenth Century Architecture in South Africa", but never included.
