dc.description.abstract From the Pearse Collection: Regent's Room of the Bartholomei Guest-house in Utrecth, with beamed ceiling and rich tapestries depicting a trompe l'oeil forest. The dining chairs are in the Louis XV style, but the room seems to be from an earlier date. Photograph probably considered for prof. Geoffrey Pearse's book "Eighteenth Century Architecture in South Africa", but never included. en_US
