Details of the joinery and metalwork of the Burgher Watch House on Greenmarket Square in Cape Town, drawn by C. S. St. Leger for prof. Geoffrey Pearse's book "Eighteenth Century Architecture in South Africa" – see page 40 for a description, and Plate 17 for the drawing, which includes details of door furniture like a strap hinge, brass escutcheon, door knob and spring bolt, as well as sections through a sash window and a shutter.
