Abstract

Elevation of a Second Period house in Caledon Square, Cape Town, measured and drawn by H. H. McWilliams for prof. Geoffrey Pearse's book "Eighteenth Century Architecture in South Africa" – see page 41 for a description, and Plate 23 for the drawing. The Neo-Classical house with sash windows is topped by a pediment with plaster modelling. The front door is flanked by pilasters.
