South-east elevation of the Cape Dutch homestead of Groot Constantia, measured by Gordon Leith and drawn by John Fassler for prof. Geoffrey Pearse's book "Eighteenth Century Architecture in South Africa" – see Plate 40 for the drawing, and pages 42-44 for a description. Both gables depicted are necked, and topped with segmental pediments.
