Abstract

Front elevation of Die Oude Pastorie (The Old Parsonage) in Paarl. Measured by C. J. Slade and drawn by John Fassler for prof. Geoffrey Pearse's book "Eighteenth Century Architecture in South Africa" – see page 48 for a description, and Plate 100 for the drawing. The facade displays a necked gable with triangular pediment, sash windows with shutters, and a front door flanked by pilasters.
