Abstract

Elevations of the pediments of the Old Supreme Court (remodelled by Thibault) in Adderley Street, Cape Town, and the Caledon Street Police Court. The sculptures are probably by Anreith. The drawings were measured and drawn by L. A. Elsworth for prof. Geoffrey Pearse's book "Eighteenth Century Architecture in South Africa" - see page 40 and Plates 18 and 19.
