dc.description.abstract This contribution presents a theoretical exposition of the nature of multilateral human rights conventions. This is done in hopes of achieving two goals: Firstly, to contribute towards theoretical clarity on the nature of these treaties; and secondly, on a practical level, to define the nature of the rights and duties of the parties and participants to these conventions. en_US
