Hy het as Hoof die idee van diversifikasie, of dan spesialisasie, deur die dosente in sy Departement heelhartig aanmoedig. ‘n Ware heer, gelowige, aangename en onderhoudende gespreksgenoot en liefhebber van die natuur.
