Abstract:
The emerging technologies identified by the 2008 Horizon report were discussed with library examples. These trends are: grassroots video, collaboration webs, mobile broadband, data mashups, collective intelligence and social operating systems.The presentation concludes with a video clip on social networking that has been downloaded from YouTube.
