Abstract

F.J. McCall was the chief veterinarian officer in Kenya, 1914. Although rinderpest broke out in many localities, British colonial veterinarians occupying German East Africa focused on guarding the borders with Kenya, Northern Rhodesia and Njasaland - colonies with substantial settler cattle.
