dc.description Dissertation (MSc)--University of Pretoria, 2019.
dc.description.abstract future, more robust or higher-resolution genomic typing tools, such as target Next Generation Sequencing (t-NGS) or metagenomic analysis are recommended to improve our understanding of the complexity of infections and for detection of both minority and major variants within extrapulmonary and pulmonary specimens for better estimation of the extent of M. tuberculosis genotypic and phenotypic heterogeneity.
