Charles Robert Swart (1894-1982) was the first State President of South Africa between 1961 and 1967.

Bronze bust by the artist Johanna Wassenaar. C.R. Swart is dressed with the Presidential scarf. Undated. Two copies in the University of Pretoria collection. The first was originally bought by the National Educational College and the other is in the collection of the residence “Kollege tehuis”. Photograph taken postcard size with Kodak camera 150dpi. Photograph edited due to quality of lighting.
