dc.description.abstract Intratracheal injections of iodine and pyrethrin mixtures against Dictyocaulus filaria in sheep, administered as described by Orloff, were not successful in removing the parasites. It would appear, however, as if such iodine injections may stop egg-laying for a number of days and in this way led to false conclusions. en_ZA
