Abstract
During the course of the tsetse fly eradication campaign in northern Zululand,
where the new contact insecticides D.D.T. and benzene hexachloride (B.H.C.)
have been used on an extensive scale for the first time in the history of Nagana
control, a study was conducted concurrently over a period of two years (March
1947 to March 1949) of the effect of these insecticides upon the parasites of
tsetse flies.
