dc.description This is a very small freely painted work of a Spanish girl wearing a Traje de flamenca, a traditional Spanish dress worn by female flamenco dancers during their performances. Coetzee adored Spain and the Spanish people all his life and apparently wished to have visited the country one more time before his death - unfortunately a desire that was never fulfilled. en_ZA
