dc.description Cleo is a mixed topography style painting that depicts the Queen of Egypt, Cleopatra VII, the lover of Julius Caesar and the last ruler Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt. On the Perspex (image on the left), Coetzee uses his well-known pyramid shapes with a stellar reference.
