dc.description While living in Spain Coetzee worked extensively to produce larger paintings of women and faces. In the 1980s he changed his earlier works as he felt that they were never truly complete. He reworked an additional flat Perspex panel (image on the right) mounted in front of the painting, the Bride is such a reworked example. en_ZA
