dc.description During the 1930s Fanie Eloff was co-editor of the Afrikaans magazine ‘Die Nuwe Brandwag’. During these years several images of his sculptures were often published. In 1931, Anguish was published twice, once as an individual image and again with the artist holding it in his hands like a precious possession. In the photograph Eloff is holding the sculpture. en_ZA
