dc.description Head of a Boxer, described as a ‘strong realistic work’, is first mentioned by Norman Price in a 1917 Pretoria News article, as one of the most exceptional pieces on exhibit along with his portrait of President Paul Kruger (1917). The bust of the boxer was not mentioned in the catalogue of the exhibition, as it was most likely a later addition . en_ZA
