dc.description.abstract Cell cultures prepared from the spleen and mesenteric lymph nodes of affected kittens were subjected to histochemical and ultrastructural studies. Macrophages in the cultures contained lipid in the cytoplasm and the ultrastructural studies revealed lysosomes containing lamellae similar in appearance to phospholipids. en_ZA
