dc.description This round polychrome Delft earthenware dish is decorated in the Persian style with leaf panels on the cavetto and a diaper floral pattern in the central patterns. The sunken and glazed base is marked with “De Porceleyne Fles” mark, a “P” in blue and the monogram “WZ” in brown. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries the designers at De Porceleyne Fles experimented with various different decorative styles, such as this so-called Persian style dish. en_ZA
