The one plate has Prayer No. 11 for after the meal which reads: “Zijt gei Alle Nerens Mij / Verzadigt Gaste Singen/ Laat nü Ons Offer Blij / Door’t blaaute Stardak dringen” (You are always near me / Fed guests sing / Let our offering remain / and penetrate the blue starry sky) and the other No. 12 a prayer for before the meal, which reads: “ Weldadig Opper Heer / Gij Spijst Ons Al tesamen / Uw Zij de Lof en eer / Ons hart Zegt dankend Amen” (Benevolent sovereign Lord / You feed us all / to You the praise and honour / our hearts say thankfully amen”). |
