Abstract

During 1941 the English radio started a V campaign. People in occupied territories were suposed to greet each others with two fingers vorming a V for Victory and Vrijheid. The Morse code (short, short, short, long) was used as a signal for the campaign. In August of that year the Germans highjacked the campaign and used it as a German victory slogan. This is a collection of documents from this campaign.
