dc.description.abstract Liquid-liquid equilibrium (LLE) data are important for designing and modeling of process equipments. In this paper, the Group Method of Data Handling technique has been applied for estimation of LLE data of the ternary system of water + alcohol +solvent at 298.15 K. Using this technique, a new model has been proposed that suitable to use in place of conventional methods to predict LLE. The experimental results and predicted data by the Group Method of Data Handling, also mean deviations of the proposed, UNIQUAC and NRTL models have been compared.
