Immune-mediated inflammatory disorders include a clinically diverse group of conditions that share similar pathogenic

connective-tissue disease are characterised by immune dysregulation and chronic inflammation. This review will focus on
immunopathogenic mechanisms, aspects of early disease, co-morbidity and therapy in RA.
