Abstract

Information Literacy training is more effective when integrated with the curriculum. The Faculty of Health Sciences is presently using a problem-based method of training, which means that students must use a variety of sources to present their case studies. This paper will give an outline of how we managed to incorporate Information Literacy training into the curriculum of the Faculty, be involved in small group panel discussions with the students/lecturers, marking of assignments and also incorporation of Google Scholar as a partner in the learning process.
