dc.description.abstract The University of Pretoria's new £40,000 Merensky Library was opened yesterday by Mr. H.A. Fagan, Minister of Education, in the presence of a distinguished gathering of about 200 people. The library's contents will include papers left by ex-president Burgers, relics concerning the House of Orange (donated in memory of mr. Van Gybland Oosterhof), and a room given by the Netherlands South African Cultural Society. en
