dc.description.abstract Mr JA van Tilburg bequeathed his "prentenkabinet" of over 10 000 graphic works to the University of Pretoria. Over 2600 of these works were small sketches and watercolours by the Dutch Impressionist Marinus Pieter Reus, the biggest collection of its kind. MP Reus (1865-1938) lived in Mr van Tilburg’s house in Dordrecht and paid him for rent in small sketches. en
