dc.description.abstract In this project, Discrete-Event Simulation is used to determine the capability of a load out station at Leeuwpan Coal mine. A thorough analysis is to be done on the results and an exploration approach taken to identify productivity improvement opportunities. A Theory of Constraints analysis is done on the current and improvement scenarios to exploit system constraints as well as to re-schedule client arrivals/loading where resources are limited and throughput improvement scenarios are presented. en_US
