Abstract:
Originally part of Christian Brothers’ College (CBC), The Masker theatre was acquired by
the University in 1968. In 1969 the Masker theatre was presented to the Department of Drama and was converted into a theatre for an audience of 240 people and equipped with basic lighting and audio facilities. A sound studio is also incorporated for the production of voice-overs, advertisements and soundtracks.
The complex hosts, on average, 10 student productions per year, as well as an annual children’s production.
