Faculty of Veterinary Science hosts an information day for High School teachers on animal diseases and their control

Abstract

On 19 August the Faculty welcomed 27 Grade 12 teachers from agricultural schools in rural areas for an information day on animal diseases and their control, which has been added to the syllabus for agriculture. The programme for the information day was presented by the Veterinary Public Health Section of the Department of Paraclinical Sciences and sponsored by the K Birch Trust while the North West Province Department of Education acted as one of the organisers of the event.
