Abstract:
From the Pearse Collection: an engraved glass goblet with cover, provenance unknown. It resembles some silver communion cups made in the Cape. Photograph probably considered for prof. Geoffrey Pearse's book "Eighteenth Century Furniture in South Africa", but never included.
