Abstract:
Tjibaou Cultural Centre, Noumèa, New Caledonia, designed by Renzo Piano, 1998 pays tribute to the huts of the local Kanak people. Named after J M Tjibaou and consisting of three villages resembling different activities, it honours the local culture. Model[1:150] built by Marrti-Mari Melonas and Minette Teessen, 3rd year B.Sc.
