dc.description.abstract |
Legally, and particularly from a children’s rights perspective, this research seeks to examine the extent to which children are allowed and can enjoy their right to participate in a family decision-making setting. The study further seeks to succinctly, argue that if children are allowed to meaningfully participate in the decision-making processes that lead to child marriages, it could significantly reduce and eliminate the prevalence of child marriages in South Africa in particular, and broadly in Africa and the globe. |
