Abstract:
The Arndt Collection was the collection of Prof Ernst Heinrich Daniël Arndt (1899-1983) who was a professor at the University of Pretoria from 1925 to 1942. He became the registrar of banks in 1942, the deputy manager of the Reserve Bank in 1951 and the Director of the Land Bank in 1962. He donated his collection of documents stretching from 1922 to 1977 to the Library of the University in 1978. The collection includes manuscripts, speeches, reports, seminars, letter and notes.
