dc.description.abstract In the 21st century, students and researchers in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), have increasingly diverse and complex information needs. They require access to a broad range of information sources and data, including specialised technical information, research findings, and cutting-edge technological innovations. Academic libraries can play a critical role in meeting these information needs by providing access to scholarly publications, databases, and research tools, as well as offering specialised research assistance. This paper will in particular focus on discussing the library use and resource preferences of STEM students and researchers, as well as the importance of digital resources in STEM research and education. It will conclude with a discussion on best practices and opportunities for librarians to support STEM faculties at academic institutions. en_US
