Abstract:
Formal group photograph of the 1948 BVSc graduates with Dr JDWA Coles and Dr C de Kock. In the photo is Sheila Mavis McLoughlin and like her predecessors, she was the only woman in the class. She qualified as a veterinary surgeon at the Onderstepoort Faculty in 1948 and married one of her classmates, Vernon Ernest Osborn.
