Abstract:
Photograph depicting the banqueting hall at Groot Constantia. Several pieces of furniture can be seen: a gate-leg table, two Tulbach chairs, a cupboard with linenfold drawers, a wall cupboard of which the glazing bars follow the curve of the gabled cornice, two spindle-turned chairs, and a plain settee. The floor appears to be of chequerboard stone tiles.
