Abstract:
Photograph depicting a small mid 18th century table at Koopmans De Wet House in Cape Town. Its slender cabriole legs terminate in claw and ball feet. The top has a border of dark wood, and the apron is shaped. See also pages 73 and 76 of the 1960 edition of prof. Geoffrey Pearse's book "Eighteenth Century Furniture in South Africa".
