dc.description.abstract This presentation will be a comparison and analysis of the impact of University of Pretoria articles published in paid-for journals vs. University of Pretoria articles published in open access journals over the past five years. All results of the University of Pretoria are also compared with that of South Africa in general. It also shows other examples of actions that could improve research visibility, such as pubishing in a high impact international journal, co-authorship and the publication of data sets. en_ZA
