dc.description.abstract Photograph depicting a late 18th century chair in the Sheraton taste. It has plain square tapered legs braced by stretchers. The seat is upholstered and the back has three decorative slats forming arches at the top rail. Photograph probably considered for prof. Geoffrey Pearse's book "Eighteenth Century Furniture in South Africa", but never included. en_US
