Abstract:
Wedding photograph of the reception of Dr Henry Green and Kate Green at the residency of Arnold Theiler, Onderstepoort, 1920. Dr Green arrived at Armoedsvlakte Experiment Station on 4th February 1914. He worked on the chemical research of the Lamziekte syndrome. He had a mental collapse in 1928. Mr and Mrs Green returned to England and Henry Green was committed to the Maudsley Hospital in London for treatment. On the 28th July 1931 the Green family returned to South Africa. After Theiler's death he continued his career at the Bureau of Animal Health at Weybridge, UK.
