Abstract:
INTRODUCTION. The problem of forming entrepreneurial competencies in response to the demands of the world labor market for a modern graduate of the university is being investigated. This subject is topical as in the world educational space there is a fundamental change in the entire system of higher education and the organizational structure of universities - their transformation into third-generation universities: project-oriented, innovative, entrepreneurial universities. The purpose of the article is to reveal the level of formation of entrepreneurial competencies among students of a technical university in the conditions of transition to the third generation universities.
MATERIALS AND METHODS. In the study, 187 3rd and 4th year students of various degree programs at National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University and 86 representatives of the business of the Kemerovo and Tusk regions took part in the study. The monitoring of the development of entrepreneurial competence among students was conducted through observation, group work on business cases, questionnaires, and interviewing.
RESULTS. The authors identified the criteria and levels of the formation of entrepreneurial competencies. The majority of students demonstrated low and medium levels of entrepreneurial competencies.
CONCLUSIONS. The authors emphasize that developing a high level of entrepreneurial competencies is possible within the framework of implementing integrated competence, contextual, problem and personality-oriented approaches to learning in university educational process.
