dc.description.abstract	The isolation of the alkaloid dicrotaline from Crotalaria dura and Crotalaria globifera has been described. On alkaline hydrolysis dicrotaline yields retronecine and an unknown dibasic acid, dicrotalic acid.	en_ZA
